Hey, this is our first Youth Bible Study started with the youth in Belize City!
It was to be a all Girl’s B.S. and we had boy’s show up, so guess what?
Yep, it’s for all we have an average of 15 to 20 kids for each meeting! PTL!
Grayslake, Ill, raised the money and replaced the windows for the Cabana’s.
This is the finished product, now our teams can open and shut their windows!
Here’s a preview of how far we haven’t gotten with the Director’s home,
this is where Basil and Vera will live someday, maybe when the Millennium is here!
Team from Grayslake, Ill, we even took Dorita with us for a break!
Here’s Grayslake doing VBS!
This was the beginning stage, the villagers dug the holes
and poured for the post and the footings!
Cornerstone - Chandler, AZ came and started the Village Make Over.
The team arrives and the building begins!
It’s looking more like a house! Can you believe it this team built
not one house but two while here in one week!
The walls are going up! Keep it going, you’re almost done!
Windows going in, that’s a good sign!
Alright, now you’re talking, the house is done with a few minor finishing touches!
Now it’s time to dedicate the homes and pray over them,
Vera reads Scripture and Basil prays!
Marty McIntire leader of the team, gave both families a cross representing Christ
and the Love He has for them explaining that God sent this team to share His Love!
The Cornerstone ladies brought quilting with scripture
embroidered on the flannel pieces.
This was such a huge success we didn’t
have enough pieces for everyone!
This is one of the scriptures for the quilts!
This is the Cornerstone team who built the homes, did VBS, taught in the School
and in general made friends with the village and showed Christ’s love!
It’s the fit of the fittest, which one will win out!
Nate pictured on left, was our intern from Aug.
to Nov. and Kelly on the right was visiting us, she interned
with Andrew back in Oct to Jan from the year prior!
Don & Rae Reed from Tracy, CA they were able to finally
fit the Mission trip into their very busy schedules.
What a HUGE BLESSING they were.
Don knows how to drive a Back Hoe for anyone needing help!
Wow would you look at all those solar panels,
we’re moving out of the "dark ages", literally!
Hubert Steinly, Jr. and Mike were the Heroes of the week,
by installing 16 solar panels in record time, plus installing our
solar freezer and refrigerators! They accomplished a lot of
electrical troubleshooting! Thank you guys!
Our first Annual Staff Christmas party was held at the
Princess hotel, it was our way of saying thank you to our staff.
Dinner and a movie, plus Christmas presents were given!
Here’s a group shot around the Christmas tree, Pictured from Left to right,
Top Row: Jamal, Troy;
Below: Basil, Ersell (Sista), Vera, Dorita, Threnton, and Popsie.

This is Joel Thompson who was our intern for Dec. and Jan.
He had visited us in July and decided to come back!

The team from Ludington, MI came and they helped with the VBS sports camp

The Ladies from First Baptist of Lakewood, CA & Cornerstone from Ludington
also brought more quilts for those who didn’t get to make them in Nov.
We still didn’t have enough, but the ladies were indebted to both teams for these!

Here’s a site to see, believe it or not this was a teaching moment!
I’m amazed he could hold
Vera UP!

Here are the Herculean Men (as Basil says) that moved the Container!

Here they are in action, look at those smiles and muscles!
They had a hard job and did with such ease and care!

What’s a picture without the pose!!

This was not an easy task, and add the hot, humid, buggy weather,
hmmm, do you think you’d want to join them?

Alright ladies, you’re next, we still have 1 mile to go!

This is the team from both Ludington, Ill and Lakewood, CA who returned to visit us!
This was where the East met the West! They worked hard all week long!

Dr. Tom and Nurse Judy visiting Ms. Ethel, whose has stomach cancer.
She was thrilled that someone visited her at home! She’s the perfect patient.
This team was from Terrace Shores in Wisconsin

Trying to give out treats after Sunday School, all for one and one for all!

The Terrace Shores Team, the Berglund family who lead the team and
our staff are pictured above.
Webberville, Mi, sent another team to visit. They spent a week
with us and learned first hand what our lives were like on a daily
basis, as they worked around the mission base and Pat the Nurse
made home visits in the village. They spent 2 weeks with us!
