Our Statement Of Faith
- We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and that it is the infallible authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
- We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are equal in every divine perfection and that they execute distinct but harmonious positions in the work of creation, providence and redemption.
- We believe in God the Father, an infinite personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
- We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings.
- We believe in His substitution atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people and personal and visible return to earth.
- We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment and to regenerate, sanctify and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ.
- We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide.
- We believe that all men are sinners by nature, separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe that those who repent of their own sin and accepts Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord are regenerated (born again), sealed by the Holy Spirit, all sins are forgiven and becomes a child of God.
- We believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We teach the good news (the Gospel), that God through his Son Jesus Christ, reconciled the world to Himself. Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave, in order to pay the penalty for our sins and to release us from its power. Forgiveness and new life is offered to everyone. It is given by God's grace and received by faith.
- We believe in the Great Commission. We believe in the mandate of our Lord Jesus Christ “To preach the Gospel to all peoples”. Jesus before ascending to the Father gave us the task of going to the world and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world.
- We believe in water Baptism by immersion, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, as commanded by the Scriptures. All who repent and believe on Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Thus they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and they also have been raised with him to walk in newness of life.
- We believe in Holy Communion. We believe that the Lord's Supper was instituted by Christ as a memorial, commemorating his suffering and death and a prophecy of His second coming to be observed and administered “till He comes”.
- We believe in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in the Scriptures and that they are valid for today, if they are exercised within the Scriptural guidelines. We as believers are to covet the best gifts, seeking to exercise them in love, that the whole Body of Christ might be edified. We believe that love is more important than the most spectacular gifts and without love all exercise of spiritual gifts is worthless.
- We believe in the second coming of Christ and the Final Judgment. We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His Kingdom.
- We believe in the resurrection of the body and the final judgment.
